Classroom expectations are clear guidelines and standards of behavior that teachers set to create a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment. They help students understand what is expected of them academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Be Respectful

  • Use polite and kind language.

  • Respect personal space, property, and differences.

  • Leave the attitude at the door.

  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

  • Use classroom materials appropriately.

  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.

Be Honest

  • Tell the truth and take responsibility for mistakes.

  • Do your own work and avoid cheating.

Be GREAT

  • Life is hard.

  • It will knock you down but it takes great strength to get back up

  • Never give up
